No stamp in Iceland

Yesterday I got back from a ten days trip to San Francisco. I was there to attend EclipseCon ’08 and co-presented ECF discovery. The conference was great especially meeting everybody f2f one is usually used to work with virtually. After the conference a colleague and me spent Friday to Sunday in SF downtown where I finally got to do the bike trip over the Golden Gate bridge. Stay tuned for snaps I’ll hopefully manage to get from my colleague. On Monday before we headed back to god ol Germany we went to the new US office in Redwood city to show cast Vitness, the project I’ve been working on ever since I joined Versant.
We left SF at 11pm to be scheduled to land in Munich around 5pm CET. Unfortunately a passenger suffered a medical condition which forced the pilot to go down in Keflavik which is close to Reykiavik on Iceland. We haven’t heard about the patient’s condition, but lets hope
he/she is OK. Although nobody can be blamed for the ~four hour delay, it kinda sucks reaching HH again later. I hope it isn’t going to become a bad habit of mine.
Anyway, I’m happily back in Hamburg and guess what I ended up buying in the states?
