GSoC deadline has been extended until April 7th

Because of low numbers of student applications in general, the Google Summer of Code deadline has been extended until April 7th. However Eclipse to date has already received more than 100 student applications which is even more than last year. Surely we mentors have a stack of reading ahead of us. :-)

Students, use this opportunity to join GSoC. You can find our ideas on the wiki.

    OMG wait one more week for the results!!!! I can’t I can’t I can’t!!!!!

100 applications from Eclipse? OMG that’s much more than what it looks like in the ideas page… does anyone have an estimate on how many slots would Eclipse get from Google? an approximate average?

Last year Google acknowledged ~20 slots.
